[A] The Follow function did not work with AutoCAD® 2018 external references (xref).
Design Stand
Imported sessions could, under certain circumstances, be placed at the wrong X,Y coordinates.
When a user-defined Maximum allowable bridge slope was defined, the selection box reverted to ICAO.
Important: In these cases, calculations used the user-defined value.
Bridge parking positions set in version 1.X were not preserved.

Bridge parking position values were not correctly calculated/displayed.

Session Manager
Changes made to the appearance of airplane clearance box fill were not applied.
Installation
Running SetupWorkstation.exe with an explicit path started the installation as a Demo.

All 'Design' commands
Several minor interface changes have been made to improve the user experience.
Sessions can be simulated on a range of supported 3D terrain objects.
Sessions can be simulated on a 'Drawing X,Y plane' where Z≠0.
A new 'Move' function is available for repositioning sessions, e.g. from Z=0 to a terrain or Drawing X,Y plane.
'Save As and Move' has been replaced by a new 'Copy' function.
'Copy from Database' has been replaced by a new 'Import from Database' function.
A function for placing copied or imported sessions at their original coordinates is available.
Design Stand
Bridge parking position(s) can be utilized for pre/post-positioning (see Create 2D/3D Presentation).
A 'Dock to door' option is available prior to placing airplanes on a lead-in/stop line.
Automated docking 'Rules' can be set to pre-determine which door is used when docking.
Refinements have been made to shorten the time required to calculate and/or redraw.
Session Manager
Service Arrangement vehicles can be shown/hidden individually.
A new 'Engines' element is available under Safety Area(s).
Passenger stairs are included in airplane service arrangements.
Objects that are 2D-only can be shown/controlled when a Stand session is visualized in 3D.
2D Safety Areas and Jet blast can be shown/controlled when a session is visualized in 3D.
Multiple rows can be selected and activated at once using Ctrl and/or Shift.
User-defined elements can be defined, tracked and visualized.
Terrain Manager
A new 'Terrain Manager' command has been introduced for managing supported terrain objects in a drawing.
Vehicle Editor
Several minor improvements have been made to improve the user experience.
Create 2D/3D Presentation
Bridge wheel movement is shown when animating stand sessions in 2D.
A pause at a bridge's pre/post-position docking can be visualized during animation.
Improvements have been made to the algorithm used when animating bridge movements.
General
Dialogs are scaled automatically on high resolution monitors.
It is possible to register from within the software to receive product news and improved support.
Notifications are now displayed within the software when updates are available for download.
A improved reporting tool has been added for submitting system error files and comments.

Design Stand
Switching visualization to 3D could cause a crash if the session contained 2D-only airplanes.
Adding 2D-only airplanes to a session visualized in 3D could cause the software to crash.
Docking error messages included incorrect explanations in certain circumstances.
Session Manager
Engine suction danger areas were too small in some cases due to a rounding error.
Create 2D Presentation
Objects in Path animations sometimes did not travel the full length of the path.
Migration
Simulations migrated from AeroTURN could, under rare circumstances, cause AviPLAN to crash.
Licensing
On rare occasions, network seats were not made available to other users after AviPLAN/CAD was closed.
General
Text fields in certain dialogs were empty in Japanese versions of Windows®.
Non-English characters in report template style names were not handled correctly.
Symbols used in session names were not handled correctly.
An error could occur when creating reports due to the image zoom function.

[A] Non-English AutoCAD MAP 3D could crash when the AutoCAD move command was used after using an AviPLAN command.
[M] The wrong MicroStation element priority was set for elements in AviPLAN object drawings.
[B] The AviPLAN menu and ribbon wasn't displayed in BricsCAD V16 32-bit.
Design Path
The 'Direct Turn' turn type did not always generate the tightest possible turn, even if indicated as such.

Properties could, under certain circumstances, be lost when reopening a Stand Session.

The 'Cabin Variant' control for specifying teleradial bridge parameters was not displayed in the user interface.
Airplanes could, under certain circumstances, be marked as "not placed" even when they were placed successfully.
The Stand Result dialog stopped updating, under certain circumstances, when using user-defined stop line and airplane positioning.

Presentations did not use the correct layer settings during animation.
Migration
When migrating PathPlanner 6 Park Sessions, all objects were drawn at the location of the first object.

Helicopter rotor swept surface offsets were not correctly handled (values were halved by the program).

Swept wing surfaces could, under certain circumstances, include a notch at the end of a turn.
[A] The Follow function now supports elliptical arcs (must have the same major and minor axis length).

Passenger Boarding Bridges without a defined drive column (e.g. Thyssen Henschel bridges) could cause problems.
Bridge height values specified as 'Height above apron' changed when the stand's coordinate system was moved and an apron slope was defined.

The dialog was displayed incorrectly on Japanese versions of Windows®.

Session Manager
The session tree structure/list could be corrupted by adding a new folder.
Selecting more than one session could result in empty element lines.

[M] A license error at start-up could, under certain circumstances, cause the program to crash.
Migration
Some AeroTURN simulations caused AviPLAN to freeze during migration.
The layer/level for AeroTURN simulations was not preserved after migration.

Design Stand
In-drawing context menus are available when clicking on certain elements, e.g. to rotate/move a lead-in line.
User-defined labels (e.g. bridge or fuel pit labels) are now used more widely, i.e. in reports, Session Manager, etc.
When an airplane is selected in the Airplane Parking or Stand Results tables, it is highlighted in the drawing.
Select Object
A status row has been added to highlight how many objects are shown, selected, hidden by filters, etc.
Additional Door(s) data has been added in the Select Object dialog to filter airplanes by e.g. L2.
Library updates
Library updates can be deployed to workstations in a network using the network server's shared data folder.
Migration
Drawings containing PathPlanner A5 data can now be migrated.
AeroTURN simulations with a generic pushback tractor can now be migrated.

The command did not work on Korean versions of Windows (may also affect other non-English Windows versions).

PathPlanner 6.XY path sessions containing trucks could cause a migration system error.
PathPlanner 6.XY sessions could not be migrated if graphic elements had been deleted from the drawing.
PathPlanner 6.XY path sessions containing pushbacks could incorrectly display a migration system error, even if the session was successfully migrated.
User interface
Some menu and dialog fonts were not displayed correctly.

The full range of display elements is available for all aircraft along a path.
The 'Follow' drive mode algorithm has be refined to improve usability.
Design Fillet
The 'Critical outer engine' element displays the path of the outer engine only, without considering taxiway total width.
Properties for all airplanes in a session can be controlled from Session Manager (previously only critical airplanes could be controlled).

A number of stability issues were identified that could impact overall performance.
Design Path
It was not always possible to follow CAD elements in reference drawings.
Paths containing one or more 'Follow' segments were, under certain conditions, not correctly redrawn when the object was switched.
Design Stand
The Slope, Full and Slope, Empty column headings were inverted in the Stand Results dialog.
Airplanes were moved, under certain conditions, to a position that exceeded the maximum allowable slope.
Design Fillet
Shoulder lines were not always correct when a path contained arc elements.
Feedback was not always given when a route could not be followed.
Session Manager
Clearance boxes for DC 10-30 airplanes were drawn incorrectly.
License handling
A system error occurred when launching the program if all network license seats were in use.
